Configuration Analyst

Job Description System Configuration & Development: Create, test, and deploy customized configurations within software applications (e.g., CPQ, ERP, or CMDB tools). Requirements Translation: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical designs and functional workflows. Automation and Optimization: Automate repetitive manual processes and improve existing configuration management processes to enhance scalability. Maintenance & Documentation: Maintain documentation for system configurations, user workflows, and version control. Support & Troubleshooting: Provide second-level support for production issues, batch cycles, and configuration errors. Tool Experience: Familiarity with CPQ platforms, SCM tools, configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet), or ITSM platforms. Technical Understanding: Knowledge of basic networking, database structures, and web technologies. Analytical Ability: Strong problem-solving skills to analyze system functionalities and identify optimization opportunities. Typical Career Progression Junior/Configuration Specialist: Focuses on testing, documentation, and simple configurations.
