Locum Tenens OB/GYN Physician – North Carolina

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for inpatient locum tenens coverage in northeastern North Carolina.

Coverage Dates: 10/21/26–10/23/26 and 12/27/26–01/04/27
Total Coverage: 10 x 24-hour shifts
Shift: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Setting: 100% Inpatient
EMR: Epic
Provider Pay: $2,400 per 24-hour shift
Included Active Clinical Time: First 2 hours
Pay Ranking: Competitive / Mid-Market

The physician will provide inpatient OB/GYN coverage at a 114-bed community hospital with approximately 300 deliveries annually and an average inpatient census of approximately two patients.

Responsibilities include Labor & Delivery coverage, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, obstetric emergencies, inpatient consultations, postpartum care, and other inpatient OB/GYN responsibilities within granted privileges.

The $2,400 daily rate includes the first two hours of active clinical/callback time during each 24-hour coverage period .

There are no ICU responsibilities , and the physician is not required to respond to hospital codes. Pediatric support and transport are available through a nearby children's hospital.

Candidates must be Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and have recent inpatient Labor & Delivery experience.

New providers will complete orientation prior to their first scheduled coverage.
