Shipping Clerk (Temporary Full-Time)
Are you organized, dependable, and looking for a hands-on opportunity in shipping and logistics? A local Scappoose company is seeking a Shipping Clerk to assist with shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations during a temporary full-time assignment.

Requirements

Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or related experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
Experience with UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, or similar shipping software
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control processes
Experience with LTL freight and international shipping is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic computer skills required
Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening (non-THC)

Job Duties

Process outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, USPS, and other shipping systems
Package, label, and prepare products for shipment
Obtain shipping quotes and coordinate carriers
Track shipments and assist with delivery inquiries
Create shipping documentation, manifests, and invoices
Band, wrap, and palletize freight shipments
Process domestic and international shipments
Assist with receiving incoming deliveries
Perform inventory counts and support warehouse organization
Maintain shipping supplies and a clean, safe work environment
Stand and walk throughout the workday
Regularly lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds
Bend, stoop, reach, and perform general warehouse duties as needed

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Lunch 1-Hour Unpaid Lunch Break
August 1 – November 2, 2026
