Role Responsibilities Log and track vehicle deliveries and inventory to maintain accurate records. Move and stage vehicles across the lot for optimal customer viewing. Ensure a clean, welcoming environment that reflects CarMax’s commitment to excellence. Perform reconditioning tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and detailing vehicles to meet quality standards. Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences. Learn and apply best practices in automotive care and inventory management. Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area. Required Qualifications High level of motivation and a strong work ethic. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Effective communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a collaborative environment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. Compensation The hourly rate for this position is: $20.35 - $20.35. Benefits Except as otherwise required by state law, CarMax Associates are entitled to the following paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Full‑time hourly or commission/incentive eligible associates earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year (accrued per pay period). Between 80 and 200 hours of vacation time per year after a 90 day waiting period, dependent on years of continuous service. Eight paid scheduled holidays per year plus one floating holiday. Associates working on a scheduled holiday receive Holiday Premium Pay. Full‑time salaried associates are entitled to paid time away with no specified limit, subject to manager approval.
