Salary Range $18.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Description

SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Follow all Goodwill policies and safety procedures. Must possess professional etiquette.
• Operate all machinery in a safe and appropriate manner. Including, but not limited to:
• Drives forklift to transport a variety of loads. Controls movement of lifting apparatus
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, and around loaded pallets, carts, boxes, products, or materials, and transports load to designated area
• Tracks materials in work area, and supplies workers with materials as needed
• Prepares shipments for truck pickup. Assists in loading/unloading trucks
• Dumps trash container
• Cross-trains to operate baler, tipper, and other machinery.
• Perform safety checks on equipment. Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports any incidents of theft or misappropriation of company property.
• Keep work area and surrounding area neat, clean, and orderly.
• Maintain daily work and machinery log as assigned.
• Regular attendance is required. Must adhere to attendance policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to engage in prolonged standing, sitting, and repetitious duties.
• Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule on short notice, including nights, weekends, and occasional long hours.
• Must have valid drivers license in good standing.
• Flexibility to cover other areas of Goodwill when needed.
• Must be able to complete multiple tasks assigned within time frame set by supervisor.
• Vision corrected to within normal limits.
• Ability to work well in a hectic work environment with occasional periods of high stress.
