Travel Emergency Room RN

Unit: 26 Beds + 3 Trauma Bays | 4-Bed Treatment Area

Must Have:

• 2 years recent ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (TNCC & ENPC preferred)
• IV skills and EKG rhythm interpretation

Patient Population:
Abdominal pain, AMS, Chest Pain, Stroke, STEMI, COVID, SOB, Moderate Sedation, Pediatrics to Geriatrics

Unit Details:

• Ratio: 1:4
• EMR: Cerner
• ED nurses manage ER holds and perform triage
• Nurses read telemetry strips
• RT available 24/7
• Medics assist with IVs, EKGs, meds, and transport

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (7–7, 11–11, 3–3)
• Every 3rd weekend
• Holiday flexibility required
• No block scheduling

Orientation: 1–2 precepted shifts

Scrubs: Navy Blue

Notes:

• RTO must be submitted upfront
• Strong commitment and punctuality are required
• Floating is rare (usually sitter duties if needed)
