Receptionist

JOB SUMMARY
Performs all registration duties including but not limited to checking in patients, insurance verification, answering phones, and other clerical work. Performs occupational medicine exams, and related components.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greets and registers patients. Answers and appropriately facilitates phone calls. Obtains pre-authorization from insurance companies for outside radiologic procedures/exams. Cleans and stocks the site with other members of the team. Performs basic medical assisting/occupational medicine technician duties to ensure proper patient flow. Responsible for training/coaching new front desk staff on registration processes.MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Friendly and outstanding customer service skills. Strong critical thinking skills. Basic computer skills, including the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR).EDUCATION
