The Office of the First Deputy Mayor is seeking a qualified individual to serve as the Criminal Justice Coordinator. Reporting into the office of the Chief of Staff, this individual will serve as a trusted advisor to the Mayor, First Deputy Mayor, and the administration's senior leadership on all matters related to criminal justice and reducing the incarceration population. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Provide day-to-day oversight of the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice and work to advance the Mayor's criminal justice priorities and agenda.
• Develop strategic guidance, direction, and assistance as it relates to citywide strategies to reduce incarceration and enhance fairness in the criminal justice system.
• Serve as a trusted thought and execution partner to the First Deputy Mayor.
• Analyze and evaluate program performance measures and evaluation standards related to NYC's criminal justice data, including jail population, case processing, etc.
• Work closely with key stakeholders, including, but not limited to, NYC's District Attorneys and relevant criminal justice and public safety agencies, such as the Mayor's Office of Criminal Justice and the Department of Corrections.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 10+ years of experience.
