You will be part of a dynamic team that values open communication, mutual respect, and dedication to client care.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Licensed Physical Therapist at One Way Recovery Therapy, you will:Comply with all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA privacy regulations and Medicare billing procedures, ensuring that all documentation and transactions meet legal standards.Effectively communicate with patients/clients, their families, the public, and fellow healthcare team members, fostering a supportive environment that encourages questions and feedback.Provide 1-on-1 patient care, delivering personalized treatment plans and employing a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist clients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.Document all aspects of patient care accurately, including clinical services, billing information, and correspondence, ensuring comprehensive records that support the continuity of care.Exhibit extensive clinical knowledge and maintain high performance standards throughout all aspects of patient interactions, from initial assessments to ongoing treatment sessions.Patient Population / Client FocusThe clients you will serve at our rehabilitation facility include individuals recovering from various physical challenges, such as post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. With a focus on holistic care, you will also have the opportunity to work with pediatric patients, developing specialized treatment plans that cater to their unique developmental needs.QualificationsValid Florida Physical Therapy License.Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.Proficient in various therapeutic techniques, with strong emphasis on trigger point therapy.Sound knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess and treat physical impairments.Experience working directly with pediatric patients is highly valued and encouraged.Preferred ExperienceWhile a minimum of one year of clinical experience within an acute care hospital or related environment is required, candidates with additional experience in rehabilitation settings are especially encouraged to apply. This experience will prepare you to handle a diverse range of patient needs and contribute to enhanced patient outcomes effectively.Compensation and BenefitsIn return for your expertise and dedication, One Way Recovery Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year.
