ABOUT YOU:

You love dogs and would love to care for them all day, every day! You produce high quality work to keep your furry clients looking their best. You have the ability to groom different breeds of dogs according to their hair types. You’re the kind of person who takes your job seriously. You have the analytical skills to assess the behavior and condition of each dog. You’re careful not to make mistakes and can be counted on to keep all the dogs in your care safe and well cared for! You are cooperative, helpful, and careful. You enjoy working in a collaborative, harmonious teamwork environment. ABOUT THE GROOMER ROLE:

Conduct baths, haircuts, nail trims, and other services for all canine clients. Ensure full oversight and safety of the dogs in your care. Clean up after your canine clients throughout the day and ensure that all pets are completed with their grooming services at the assigned pick-up time. Work with the pet parent to provide the highest level of service and satisfaction for all spa services as requested. Must have the ability to groom large, overly excited, or frightened dogs while maintaining a safe environment. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Ability to work cohesively with their team in a respectful and professional manner. Maintains a positive attitude and demeanor in all aspects of their position including room management and customer service. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, POS systems. Education and Experience: High School Diploma preferred. Grooming License or Certification 1-2 years of work experience required. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing required.
