Job Summary Passionate, creative, experienced producer needed to join Gray Television’s flagship hometown station. We are looking for the right producer to help bring stories to life on Atlanta News First. Responsibilities Produce 30–60 minutes of local news daily; select stories, determine story order, write broadcast scripts, select video, create and/or order graphics and other elements to enhance viewer experience. Create and execute a vision for the newscast anchored in the Atlanta News First brand pillars and audience research. Collaborate with anchors, reporters, digital producers, editors, directors, management, and others to choreograph all elements of the newscast from big picture to minute details. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience producing and broadcasting live newscasts. Excellent time management, communication, and broadcast writing skills. Proven track record of working at a high level under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must provide samples of recent work. Preferred: Experience in line production in a medium or large market. Experience producing special projects, unscripted live events, digital, streaming, or social media content. Field producing experience. Segment producing experience.
