Senior ERP Project Manager

Datamtx ( / formerly Datamatics) established in 1993 is globally HQ'd in Atlanta with a stellar history supporting both Tier 1 and 2 ERP projects including: S/4HANA, JDE, Oracle Cloud ERP, Peoplesoft, Deltek, Infor (M3 / S3 / Syteline / LN / Factory Track / MacPac XE / LX, S21, XA), IFS, Ellucian Banner, D365, SysPro, Epicor, BlackLine, etc. Our ERP projects cover the gamut of typical implementation but we also support bespoke projects and specialty staffing needs covering: data cleanse, customizations, lift & shift, cloud & data migrations, M&A consolidations, Hypercare and Day 1 support. We are also globally partnered with some of the Top Accounting, Advisory and Audit firms. THE ROLE We have an existing client with ongoing work across JIRA, Oracle Fusion and BI (Microsoft Fabric). We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead in the 3 aforementioned areas with an emphasis or rapid-launch or new projects and ensure a relationship-centric approach (Vs PMO based). The role will be remote and start off as a long-term contract. This role will report directly to the IT Director and is responsible for Leading and Managing projects located across business units. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of projects utilizing both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The Senior Manager, PMO, will play a key role in establishing and maintaining project delivery success. This role requires a strategic thinker, an exceptional communicator and at least 10 years of experience in managing IT projects in an organization. This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Candidates with prior experience in creating and managing PMO standards and processes will be preferred. Candidates with a PMP and CSM will be preferred as well. Key responsibilities/Essential functions: Lead the PMO function by providing project oversight and governance for all projects by creating and following standards for project management and reporting to Project Management Institute standards. Manage several projects concurrently, and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients across the organization. Guide teams in adopting project standards such as reporting, risk management, work plans, and other PMO Standards. Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Agile Scrum and Kanban ceremonies while managing project schedules, milestones and dependencies. On occasion, the creation of user-stories will be necessary. Knowledge, Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field Minimum of 10 years as a project manager Demonstrated experience leading complex projects of over $1 million dollars Thrives in an environment that is fast-paced and able to adapt to changing situations Preferred skills include a PMP Certification and a CSM certification, along with JIRA experience. Preferred skills Previous experience managing with Oracle Cloud ERP, Fusion or EBS. Prior background with managing BI projects.
