Senior Asset Management (Real Estate Funds) Associate

Overview The role involves leading teams during fundraising processes for real estate funds and advising clients on the formation, structuring, and management of open-end and closed-end real estate fund products, including co-investment vehicles and other real estate investment products. Represent real estate fund sponsors and investors in transactions, negotiations, and regulatory matters. Draft, review, and negotiate fund offering documents, partnership agreements, side letters, and co-investment vehicle documents. Conduct legal research, analyze regulatory requirements, and monitor changes in laws affecting real estate funds and related products, identifying and resolving related legal issues. Coordinate with clients, investors, and service providers to facilitate fund closings, prepare/review disclosure documents and investor communications, and support due diligence for real estate acquisitions and investments. Supervise junior team members and help partners maintain existing client relationships, collaborating with colleagues across tax, real estate, finance, and regulatory practices. Responsibly and ethically use AI technologies to enhance legal research and document review. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ropes & Gray LLP
