Billing RepresentativeChord Specialty Dental Partners is a trusted name in pediatric and orthodontic dental care—and we're growing! We're looking for a detail-oriented Billing Representative to help drive the financial operations that keep our practices running smoothly.In this role, you'll take ownership of patient account management and insurance claims processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care—and help families access the services they need with confidence.This position will be fully remote through the end of June 2025. Beginning in July, it will transition to a hybrid schedule with in-office days on Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Starting in January 2026, the role will shift to a full-time on-site schedule, Monday through Friday.Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM / Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PMWest Chester, PAResponsibilitiesPosts all insurance EFTs with accuracyReview insurance EOBs and places a copy in the patient accountMake accurate account adjustmentsMail statementsFollow up with past due accounts, including account auditsFollows scripting for collection callsSubmit refund requestsKeep AR within the company set percentagesRecords batch totals with date and initials on payment receipt spreadsheetBalances batches and runs transaction reportsEnsures accuracy of all patient dataQualificationsPhysically located in the Eastern or Central Standard Time Zone preferred.At least 1 year of experience working with healthcare A/RTechnical School/Associate's Degree preferredKnowledge of dental or medical billing/collections/insurance terminology preferredKnowledge of basic accounts receivable and accounting principlesUnderstanding of the revenue cycle and how the various components work together preferredComputer literacy skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to recognize roadblocks that may be causing slower reimbursement and work with management team to create solutionsService-oriented/customer-centricExcellent written/verbal communication skillsWhat We OfferWe believe that taking care of our employees and their families is paramount.
