Charge Nurse (RN) - Ambulatory Surgery Full-Time | $45-$48/hour Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM-4:30 PM & Friday 8:00 AM-12:00 PM Location: Gainesville, GA 30501 or Athens, GA 30606 Ready to take the lead while maintaining a consistent weekday schedule? As a Charge Nurse, you'll help lead daily clinical operations while providing hands-on care throughout the pre-operative, procedural, and recovery process. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to patient safety, clinical excellence, and exceptional outcomes. Coordinate daily clinical activities, including staffing and workflow coverage. Serve as a clinical resource for nurses and support staff. Supervise support personnel and reinforce established clinical protocols. Perform patient assessments, monitor treatment responses, and document clinical findings. Communicate changes in patient condition to the appropriate care team members. Provide nursing care during pre-operative, procedural, and recovery stages. Partner with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive outcomes. Support quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives. Maintain facility standards, professional ethics, and evidence-based practices. Participate in staff meetings and continuing education. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS certification. ACLS certification. Preferred Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) and/or pain management. Experience with Athena EHR. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). CPAN certification. Skills for Success Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Effective organization and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software. Ability to maintain focus on quality care in a fast-paced environment.
