Job Description As a Production Planner your duties and responsibilities will included, but are not limited to: Planning and controlling production orders in SAP/R3 from release to completion. coordinatingmaterial availability with procurement, warehouse, and the operational production teams. Proactivity is key: Monitoringproduction progress and adjust schedules to avoid bottlenecks. To guarantee planning reliability,accurately maintaining material master data and ensure data quality. Acting as the key interface between sales, procurement, and production to ensure smooth alignment across departments. Analyzingcapacity and workloads to support both daily scheduling and long-term strategies. With a focus on optimization,drivingcontinuous improvements in our production planning processes. other duties as assigned. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in production planning, materials planning, or supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment and hands‑on experience planning and controlling production orders from release through completion. Strong SAP experience required (PP/MM modules preferred), including creation, release, tracking, and closing of production orders. Solid understanding of MRP, BOMs, routings, lead times, and production scheduling principles. Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and support decision‑making Excellent cross‑functional communication skills, with experience acting as a key interface between Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production. Confident in presenting planning constraints, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced production environment.
