Production Supervisor - Repair Center

Snapshot of Your Day The Manufacturing Supervisor will be responsible for managing production shifts and directly overseeing factory floor workers during the power transformer repair and retrofit process. Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the supervisor will ensure production operations are carried out efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role will be based at our new factory in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, and will initially coincide with the factory’s construction. During this phase we will focus on developing processes, refining offerings, and collaborating with a high‑performance team to prepare for full operations. How You’ll Make an Impact Coordinate with the Manufacturing Manager and other department leaders to implement production plans and strategies, enhance efficiency, and minimize downtime. Directly supervise factory workers, managing daily activities and ensuring adherence to guidelines and procedures. Train and develop team members, promoting continuous learning. Support development and maintenance of documentation for technical instructions for drying and treating processes. Lead by example and ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, fostering a safe and respectful working environment. What You Bring High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical certificate or associate degree in a relevant field is advantageous. 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in transformer or heavy industrial manufacturing, including operation of vapor phase ovens, vacuum pumps, and oil processors. Excellent leadership and team management skills; people‑management experience is advantageous. Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment; OSHA experience is a plus. Willingness to work in shifts and flexibility to adapt to changing production needs. Other Key Requirements Must pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests. Must understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. Must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer‑sponsored work authorization. Non‑local candidates must be willing to relocate to the Charlotte‑NC area. Must be willing to travel to Mexico, Brazil, China, or Germany for on‑the‑job training for 2–3 months or more; relocation support and compensation will be provided.
