This position is responsible for operating robotic weld cell machines, ensuring high-quality welded components, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Weld Cell Operator plays a key role in maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards while contributing to our culture of teamwork and innovation.Primary job responsibilities include:Operate, program and maintain robotic welding machines, including charting machine performance and administering routine checks/maintenanceRead and understand blueprints and mechanical drawingsPlan sequences of operation to achieve optimal precision and tolerancesPrepare raw materials for production, ensuring material quality prior to production sequenceAdhere to all standards of quality and safetyMinimum Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentExperience working with robotic weld cellsKnowlege of loading and unloading parts on jigs and fixturesStrong organizational skills and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in manufacturing or metalworking environmentA desire to learn new technologies and motivation to go above and beyond minimum requirementsBasic welding backgroundFamiliarity with lean manufacturing or 5S principlesPhysical Demands:Almost continual standing or walkingOccasional kneeling, bending, and manual dexterity with handsConsiderable lifting and moving of parts and materialsModerate to considerable focusing of eyes to view electronic control screensWorking Conditions:Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changesConsiderable exposure to noise levels from manufacturing equipmentRSI Group (SmartCap) is an equal opportunity employer, with highly competitive pay and benefits, training and development opportunities and a welcoming and innovative culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr RSI North America Inc
