RSI’s flagship, patented product is the SmartCap, the world’s first flat-packable truck cap system, made of durable stainless steel and capable of customization to fit every customer’s specific interests and needs.Job Summary:The Laser Cell Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining CNC laser-cutting equipment to produce high-quality metal components used in SmartCap products. This role includes reading blueprints, setting machine parameters, performing quality checks, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operators ensure safe work practices and follow all SmartCap procedures, safety standards, and production requirements.Primary Job Responsibilities IncludeAssist with setup and operation of CNC laser cutting machines and equipmentOperate laser machines following work instructions, blueprints, or work ordersInspect completed parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracyLoad and unload sheet metal safely and efficientlyPerform basic machine adjustments and monitor machine performanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all company safety rules and manufacturing proceduresPerform additional work-related duties as assignedMinimum Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to read blueprints and use precision measuring toolsBasic computer skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with CNC or laser-cutting equipmentERP system experiencePhysical Demands:Frequent standing and walkingOccasional bending and kneelingManual material handling and lifting of metal partsRegular use of computer screens and machine control stationsWorking Conditions:Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment with seasonal temperature changesConsiderable exposure to production noise levels from manufacturing equipmentRSI Group (SmartCap) is an equal opportunity employer, with highly competitive pay and benefits, training and development opportunities, and a welcoming and innovative culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr RSI North America Inc
