Payroll Specialist

Job Title

Musts:

• Bachelors degree required
• 3 years of payroll experience min, must be recent experience and experience focused on payroll
• has done payroll for a company of at least 200-300 employees before.
• very strong with excel
• very strong attention to detail and go getter
• benefits admin piece- deduction side.
• Experience entering data into an HRIS systems(i.e entering salary changes, promotions, manager changes)
• experience paying invoices on time, must have paid a vendor before
• experience and willingness to give general HR support- if have extra time

• Has done budget management for payroll dept
• Paylocity

Day To Day:

• Process and manage payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to all employees
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• HRIS management
• Timely process all employee updates in the HRIS system such as new hires, terminations, promotions, reporting changes, etc.
• Prepare reports to the finance department on a regular basis
• HR Budget Management
• Maintain and track the HR department's budget, including monitoring expenditures and forecasting expenses
• Assist in annual budget plans for HR initiatives
• Benefits Administration
• Work with benefit vendors to ensure accurate enrollment, invoicing, and reporting
• Provide employee support for benefit-related questions and concerns
• Invoicing & Vendor Management
• Manage invoicing processes for the HRIS platform and all HR-related services, including benefits vendors
• HR Support
• Provide support to the HR team on various administrative tasks and projects
