Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Rate: Up to $21/hr plus shift differentials

Warsaw Meadows Care Center is seeking a personable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to perform resident care activities and services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of our nursing home residents, located in Warsaw, IN .

Shifts Available:

• Full Time/Part Time: 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a and weekends 6a-6p

CNA Job Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to care for residents with needs including therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care when applicable.

• Provides nursing care in accordance with Resident Care Policies and Procedures and ensures the safety and well-being of residents.

• Acts appropriately under the direction of the Charge Nurse and as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team.

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming in accordance with the established Care Plan.

• Ensures residents are out of bed according to the established Care Plan.

• Interacts with residents, family members, coworkers, and clinical and ancillary staff in a supportive, respectful, and professional manner.

• Performs additional duties as assigned in accordance with the resident Care Plan.

CNA Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Must be 18 years of age or older .

• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification from a state-approved training program.

• Certification documentation must be provided upon application.
