Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current State of Michigan special education teaching license required
• Experience in Special Education, particularly with MoCI (Moderately Cognitively Impaired) students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs and behavior intervention plans
• Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Develop and adapt curricular materials for students with special needs
• Create and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Foster a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Collect data and monitor student progress, making adjustments as needed
