Onsite Services Specialist
Houston, TX (onsite)
3+ Month Contract

Provides operational support across print, mail, document imaging, and facility services. Handles high-volume equipment, mail processing, reporting, and general office support functions. May also assist with reception, conference setup, and light maintenance tasks. Reports to site leadership.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-volume copy, print, and document imaging equipment and related software
• Perform binding, finishing, QC checks, and final job verification
• Manage incoming/outgoing mail, packages, and fax distribution; apply postage
• Monitor, inspect, and maintain copiers; clear jams and report technical issues
• Use MS Office and email systems to open, save, transfer, and manage files
• Access and follow document management system protocols
• Maintain service logs, meter readings, billing logs, and supply inventories
• Distribute office supplies and deliver completed jobs to designated locations
• Coordinate and respond to customer service requests and inquiries
• Support shipping and receiving of materials and supplies
• Assist with conference/meeting room setup and office moves
• Perform filing, archiving, and document purging tasks
• Conduct light maintenance tasks including re-lamping and occasional cleaning
• Travel between buildings as needed
• Operate bindery and office equipment (paper cutter, drill, stapler, shrink-wrap, etc.)
• Support copier checks across floors and pick up mail from designated stops

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years related experience preferred
• Experience with copy/print services or similar operations preferred
• Strong customer service, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Basic PC proficiency (MS Office, email, file handling)
• Ability to operate office and technical equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Self-motivated, punctual, and proactive
• Ability to lift up to 50-55 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, reaching)
• Comfortable working in an office environment with varied assignments
• Ability to interpret instructions and manage multiple responsibilities
• Moderate dexterity and coordination for equipment use
• Availability for occasional overtime, including nights/weekends if required
