Senior Software Engineer - AI Tuning

Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments Contribute to large scale planning of strategies Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff Demonstrate proficiency in using AI-assisted development and analysis tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and approved code-centric agents) Leverage AI to accelerate system design, coding, testing, analysis, and troubleshooting Apply strong technical judgment when validating and integrating AI-assisted outputs into solutions Understand and account for model limitations, security risks, and operational considerations Apply AI responsibly in development and production environments Ensure AI usage aligns with security, compliance, privacy, and ethical standards Requirements 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 2+ years' experience in AI tuning 6+ years of Cyber Security experience 4+ cloud experience (Google, AWS, Azure) Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in Software Engineering, Cyber Security, and AI tuning, with a strong focus on leading technical initiatives and ensuring compliance with security and ethical standards. Proficient in leveraging AI-assisted development tools to enhance system design and troubleshooting.
