Valve Assembler
Our client, manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Valve Assembler to join their team. As a Valve Assembler, you will be part of the production support team supporting engineering and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Location: Orchard Park, NY
Pay Range: $19/hour
Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
What's the Job?
- Assemble safety relief valves according to established procedures
- Set up and operate specialized testing equipment for high-pressure valves
- Conduct functional testing and accurately record results
- Compare test results to specifications and make necessary adjustments
- Support engineering with valve and subcomponent testing and troubleshooting
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude
- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing or testing environments
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval
- Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance
