What You'll Do:

• Provide inpatient hematology and oncology care, supporting the treatment of both benign and malignant conditions
• Assist with hematology inpatient services, including patient assessments and coordination of care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, APPs, and support staff
• Support the building of the facility's bone marrow practice, with knowledge of transplant patients a plus
• Document patient care activities efficiently using the EPIC EMR system
• Contribute to a patient-centered care environment with varied age groups and diagnoses

What You Need:

• Active Minnesota license (or willing to license through IMLC)
• Certification as PA (Physician Assistant) or equivalent APP credential
• Experience with hematology/oncology patients (benign/malignant)
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient hematology; familiarity with hematology procedures ideal
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

About the Assignment:

This position is with a renowned hospital in Minneapolis, MN, that is expanding its hematology and oncology services. The hematology APP will support inpatient services and participate in growing the bone marrow transplant program. The hospital offers a collaborative environment and focus on delivering exceptional patient care across all age groups. Credentialing typically takes 60-90 days, with support provided throughout the onboarding process.
