Summary:

Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Lenexa, Kansas.

**Certifications Required:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Requested Skill Set:** - Must have certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIH **Advanced skills needed:** - Experience in caring for patients with moderate physiologic instability such as COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, CHF, and trach patients. - Proficiency in cardiac and respiratory monitoring and management every 2-4 hours in a Telemetry & Pulmonary Step Down Unit. - Knowledge in performing oxygen therapy including Nasal Cannula, BIPAP/CPAP up to 80%, and AirVo Low Flo. - Ability to conduct nursing interventions at least every 3-4 hours, vital signs monitoring every 4 hours, continuous cardiac monitoring, blood glucose monitoring every 4 hours, and neurological monitoring at any required frequency.
