We are seeking a talented Pastry Cook to join our pastry team at our Bronx Commissary Kitchen. Reporting to the Pastry Head Chef, the Pastry Cook will play an integral role in producing exceptional pastries, desserts, breads, viennoiserie, and specialty baked goods while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and food safety.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pastry Cook, Baker, or in a similar pastry production environment.
• Knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, ingredients, and production processes.
• Passion for pastry arts with a willingness to learn and grow within a professional kitchen.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and consistency.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred.
• Ability to work a variable schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
• Full-time availability.

What you'll be doing:

You'll be working as part of a skilled pastry brigade responsible for preparing a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, breads, viennoiserie, and specialty baked goods. Responsibilities include scaling, mixing, baking, finishing, decorating, and plating products to established standards while ensuring consistency in quality, flavor, texture, and presentation. You'll assist with daily mise en place, maintain organized and sanitary workstations, properly store and rotate ingredients, support inventory and waste reduction initiatives, and collaborate closely with the pastry and culinary teams to meet production goals. This role offers exceptional exposure to high-level pastry production within one of New York City's premier hospitality organizations.
