Dental Sterilization Technician

Dental Office Infection Control SpecialistEffectively executes the dental office infection control plan to meet OSHA, CDC guidelinesEssential Job Functions:Sterilizing and cleaning of all instruments and equipmentReport repairs and instrument needsProvide exceptional customer service to all smilebuilderz patients, employees and business partners.Work collaboratively with dental team to provide the highest quality of patient careOther Functions:Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned by the clinic managerEffectively breakdown and set up treatment roomsUpkeep of sterilization equipment and instrumentsOrganizedAbility to multitaskAbility to facilitate change as directedTeam focusedRequirementsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalentSkill in using equipment necessary to sterilize instrumentsMachines/Tools/Equipment:Necessary instruments and equipment required for dentistryBasic office equipmentWorking Conditions:12 hour shifts.Required to stand for extended periods of timePrimarily a controlled office environment with regular exposure to clinical situations
