Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Formulation Associate to join our biopharmaceutical manufacturing team. This position is responsible for assisting with the preparation, mixing, and processing of raw materials and solutions used in the production of biopharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, follows written procedures carefully, and maintains high standards for quality, safety, and cleanliness in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation, weighing, measuring, and mixing of raw materials, ingredients, buffers, and solutions according to approved formulations and procedures.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Accurately document manufacturing activities, material usage, lot numbers, and process information in batch records and production logs.
• Verify materials, labels, quantities, and equipment before beginning formulation activities.
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare manufacturing equipment, utensils, and work areas according to established procedures.
• Monitor formulation processes and report any discrepancies, equipment issues, or deviations to the supervisor.
• Follow gowning, hygiene, contamination-control, and safety requirements when working in controlled manufacturing areas.
• Assist with material handling, inventory checks, and staging of raw materials for production.
• Maintain an organized work area and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with manufacturing, quality control, and quality assurance teams to support production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or another life sciences field is a plus.
• Previous manufacturing, laboratory, food production, pharmaceutical, or other hands-on production experience is preferred but not required.
