Insurance Attorney

We are partnering with an Equity Partner at a prestigious, leading global law firm to expand their Insurance Coverage team in Chicago. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-growth office where you will be given the opportunity to preparing and responding to written discovery, drafting pleadings and briefs, analyzing insurance policies, and providing coverage opinions to clients. You will be representing major insurance carriers and their insureds in complex disputes. Participate in all phases of a case, from inception through resolution, including trials and appeals. Draft complex pleadings, motions, and briefs that set the strategic tone for defense. Engagement in out-of-state trial monitoring and assignments. The firm is looking for proactive and organized attorneys who thrive in fast-paced environments. 2+ years of insurance coverage and/or litigation experience (the firm is currently hiring from Junior Associates to Counsel). Must be admitted to the Illinois State Bar. Have strong research and writing skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. Ability to conduct rigorous legal research and develop winning case-handling strategies.
