Position Overview This position is primarily responsible for performing general maintenance tasks on a daily basis that include, but are not limited to the following duties. General plumbing repairs such as toilets, faucets, and minor leaks. Repair and replace general hardware such as doors, doorknobs, locks, and broken tiles. Minor cosmetic updates to apartments, entrances, and common areas such as painting, plaster, sanding, and wallpaper installation. Maintenance and upkeep of cooling towers and boilers, as well as assisting in repairs of heating and HVAC systems. Assist in snow removal on sidewalks and driveways. Job Requirements 1-3 years of experience. Basic carpentry and electrical skills. Ability to solve problems and pay attention to details. Friendly, positive team player. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to follow instructions. Required Experience 2 years of prior handyman experience Requirements Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
