Corporate Controller

Forvis Mazars Executive Search has partnered with a dynamic client of our firm to identify their new Corporate Controller. Our client is seeking an experienced, hands‑on Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls for a growing, project‑based organization. This role is responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, consolidated financial reporting, compliance, treasury activities, and audit coordination while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across multiple entities. The Controller will partner closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to support operational performance, project accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with proven leadership experience and the ability to build scalable financial processes within a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment. Key Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years leading accounting teams. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, multi‑entity consolidations, and month‑end close processes. Experience in construction, renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, or other project‑based industries preferred, along with ERP system expertise and advanced Excel skills.
