Packaging Technician

Pack Tech - 1st Shift $20.00 $21.00/hr 1st Mon-Wed: 06:00 am - 06:00 pm, Thurs: 06:00 am - 11:30am Pack Tech Responsibilities: Pack packets into plastic pails or boxes, place into cartons, seal cartons, and palletize completed products. Manually cap plastic bottles and apply labels or slip sleeves to bottles and cases. Palletize completed products for shipment. Remove blocks from trays, weigh cases using a scale, and palletize finished cases. Apply labels to boxes or bags using a hand labeler. Follow company safety, quality, and production procedures at all times. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements For Pack Tech: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at a minimum 8th-grade level for safety and operational purposes. Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Dependable attendance with the ability to report to work on time each day. Ability to repetitively lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Ability to regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, and manipulate objects, tools, and controls. Ability to frequently reach with hands and arms throughout shifts of up to 10 hours. Ability to regularly sit, stand, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout shifts of up to 10 hours. Ability to work 12-hour shifts, up to 5 days per week.
