Lecturer - Economic Analysis and Policy - Business

Position Overview The Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is creating a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach courses in Economic Analysis and Policy during summer sessions. The pool will remain in place for one year. Position Details Salary range: $70,977–$199,722 per annum, set by UC academic salary scales. Percent time: up to 33% time. Initial appointment length: one semester to one year. Appointment dates: open from December 22, 2025; final application date December 21, 2026. Responsibilities Teaching courses in Economic Analysis and Policy. Holding office hours. Assigning grades. Advising students. Preparing course materials. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent international degree completed at the time of application. Additional Qualifications (required at time of start) Minimum of four years of professional practice in a field relevant to the courses taught. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years’ experience in the professional practice of Finance at a business, government, or not‑for‑profit organization by the start date. High school teaching experience across business, nonprofit, and public sectors, and an advanced degree by the start date are also preferred.
