IT System AdministratorPosition Type Full Time Job Shift Day Education Level Other Travel Percentage Travel Between Amberwell Locations Category Information TechnologyJob DescriptionResponsible for the day-to-day administration of the system servers and monitors the network to ensure optimal performance. Maintains system security in accordance with HIPAA and established policies/procedures, through access groups, user groups, and permission restrictions. Sets up and maintains print services, system files and distributed services. Perform backups and participates in contingency preparation and recovery. Requires a detailed level of understanding of workstation operating system and work station hardware. Maintains communications systems including internet access, email, VoIP, and IP cameras, etc.Duties may include but are not limited to:Able to work as a member of a team and also independently.Understand and follow safe work practices.Ensure that all Amberwell procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.Install and configure hardware and software componentsRepair or replace damaged hardwareUpgrade systems to enable compatible softwareInstall and upgrade antivirus softwareTravel to client sitesPerform tests on new hardware and softwareDefine software, hardware and network requirementsTroubleshoot hardware and software issuesAbout Amberwell Health:Amberwell Health is a healthcare system dedicated to improving the health and wellness of the communities we serve, providing compassionate healthcare with clinical excellence.
