About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Value-Based Care to play a pivotal role in enhancing patient health, reducing care costs, and improving the overall experience for both patients and providers. This leadership position is focused on directing population health initiatives, advancing value-based care readiness, and identifying opportunities to maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for program management of various payer programs, overseeing the development and communication of practice performance on quality metrics, and working with payers, providers, and other organizations to establish best practices in value-based care. Additionally, the VP will be a subject matter expert in population health analytics, continually driving strategies to improve outcomes and manage costs, and leading a team to support the goals of value-based care programs. Applicants for the VP of Value-Based Care role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a preference for a Master's degree, and at least 3 years' of experience in healthcare clinical information system development, process improvement, analytics, and reporting. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in budget development, staff management, and healthcare quality programs, as well as excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Experience with Epic is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at working with complex structures, building and maintaining relationships, and operating effectively in a collaborative, shared responsibility environment. The VP will be expected to empower staff and meet the demands of a dynamic work setting, driving the company's mission to improve the human condition through excellence in patient care and medical discovery.
