Key Responsibilities Conduct therapeutic sessions using various counseling techniques suited for individuals, couples, and families. Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs to develop personalized treatment plans designed for their specific circumstances. Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or mindfulness practices, tailored to the diverse backgrounds and challenges faced by clients. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Mental Health Therapist with AK Therapy Services, you will serve a diverse clientele that includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. Our practice emphasizes understanding the unique circumstances of each client, which enables you to build trust and facilitate meaningful behavioral changes. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field. Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in Pennsylvania (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Ability to provide clearances and successfully pass a criminal background check. Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building rapport with diverse populations. Excellent organizational skills demonstrating the ability to manage time and priorities effectively. Preferred Experience Experience utilizing various therapeutic modalities and interventions. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
