PEDIATRIC HEART FAILURE/HEART TRANSPLANT

About the Role The Heart Institute at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (JDCH) is seeking a full‑time pediatric transplant cardiologist to join an established team of specialists led by a second busiest program in the state of Florida. The position is full‑time with the Memorial Physician Group and offers a competitive benefits and compensation package commensurate with training and experience. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient care for pediatric and young adult heart failure and transplant patients, including hospital service, ambulatory clinics, and periodic satellite clinic coverage. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, advanced practice providers, and surgeons in the management of heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation. Deliver education and training to residents and fellows in the ACGME accredited Residency and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship programs. Engage in clinical research and support multicenter studies, trials, and registries. Qualifications Board‑certified in Pediatric Cardiology. Completed an advanced fellowship in heart failure and transplantation. Experience managing advanced heart‑failure and cardiac transplant patients, including use of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) and ventricular assist devices (VAD). Strong interest in teaching and mentorship of trainees. Ability to contribute to research initiatives and clinical trials. Employment Details Full‑time employment with the Memorial Physician Group.
