HR Coordinator

28th September, 2026 Our client in Buffalo, NY, is looking for a contract HR Coordinator to join their team!
This is an onsite/full-time/3-6 month contract position.
Hourly based on experience: $23-$25/HR Primary Responsibilities:

This is an onsite/full-time/3-6 month contract position.
Hourly based on experience: $23-$25/HR Primary Responsibilities:
- Screens applicants based on job description and departmental needs.
- Schedule and attend all in-person and virtual interviews to ensure compliance.
- Process background checks through the background check provider platform.
- Process onboarding for new hires and compile all new hire paperwork.
- Conduct new hire orientations on new employees' first day.
- Coordinate the performance review process.
- Send new hire bios on the new employees' first day.
- Prepare and send birthday announcements.
- Process employee perk raffle prizes.
- Manage the company merch inventory.
- Assist the HR Generalist with payroll and 401 (k) functions as needed.
- BA/BS in Human Resources with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related area.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- The ability to problem-solve and seek resolution to issues as they arise.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to research and analyze information to be applied to situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and HRS systems.
