Who You Are The Welding Lead Hand is responsible for the supervision for the shop personnel, management and training, as well as collaboration with Engineering on weldment, fixture and jig design. The Welding Lead Hand will work with management to meet production goals and foster a positive shop environment. This position will also require production welding to be performed as needed. Key Responsibilities Manage and lead up to 8 weld personnel in the shop Work with management to achieve production schedules Collaborate with engineering on weldment and weldment jig design Construct and maintain weld jigs and fixtures Perform production welding as required Continually foster a positive, goal‑oriented attitude within the shop Assist in integration of new processes and technologies in the shop Other duties as assigned What Sets You Apart? 10 years’ welding experience Willing and able to work independently and as part of a team Must be mechanically inclined with strong problem‑solving skills Must have a Class 5 driver’s license Farm experience is an asset Why K-Hart is Your Next Career Move At K-Hart, you’ll join a passionate team in an industry that makes a tangible difference.
