Dental Arts of Oliver Springs is looking for a passionate and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care to patients of all ages.
• Perform dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, and other hygiene procedures as allowed by state regulations.
• Complete comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs when appropriate.
• Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, treatment recommendations, and home care techniques.
• Take and evaluate diagnostic radiographs.
• Partner closely with doctors and team members to support comprehensive patient care.
• Accurately document clinical notes, treatment recommendations, and patient education provided.
• Assist in identifying and communicating periodontal conditions and treatment needs.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure compliance with office protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient.
• Contribute to a strong team culture by supporting teammates and participating in office initiatives.

Qualifications

• Current or pending Tennessee Dental Hygienist license (or ability to obtain licensure before start date).
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Dentrix experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and patient-focused mindset.
• Strong team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
• Open to coaching and able to accept feedback constructively.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Current dental hygienist license
• Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
• CPR Certification

Preferred Experience

• Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
• Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
