About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (12-Hour Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float throughout PCU-level and below units, with the majority of time spent in ED overflow coverage
• Manage a diverse patient population including respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, CVAs, CHF, ETOH/overdose, post-cath or IR, CIWA, and general post-op patients
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation and manage trachs, BiPAP (continuous, stable patients), invasive lines, ostomies, general drains, chest tubes, and lumbar drains
• Titrate IV medications and provide care for CIWA patients
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC EMR (required)
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 within a 33-bed PCU environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Experience managing complex patient types including CIWA protocol, post-procedural care, and multi-system conditions
• Familiarity with ED overflow or float pool environments
