Hiring for Assemblers in Greenville, SC

Shift: 6:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-Thursday $18.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools, including pneumatic and electric tools, to assemble components into larger assemblies.
• Identify and locate the correct parts needed for each assembly and ensure they are used accurately.
• Assemble products efficiently while meeting quality and production standards.
• Follow prescribed methods, procedures, and detailed work instructions for all assembly tasks.
• Use pneumatic, electric, hand, and power tools such as wrenches and torque guns to complete assembly operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts within the assigned work area and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Follow and adhere to all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures at all times.
• Enter data into computer systems and complete required forms accurately and on time.
• Lift and move components weighing 50 pounds or more as part of daily assembly tasks.
• Perform crimping of cords and point-to-point wiring on electrical or electronic assemblies.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and drawings to perform mechanical and electrical assembly.
• Perform production assembly using nuts, bolts, and other fasteners to build and secure components.
• Work on assembly lines and participate in production and packaging activities as needed.
• Inspect assembled components and products for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.
• Work independently and as part of a team to identify issues, improve processes, troubleshoot problems, and take ownership of the results for the machine or process assigned.
• Support clean and organized work practices, including working in cleanrooms or controlled environments as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools, including pneumatic and electric tools, wrenches, torque guns, and tape measures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, SC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
