What You'll Do

As a Med Surg RN, you'll play a vital role in delivering safe, patient-centered care while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.

-Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice

-Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy

-Collaborate with physicians and care team members to achieve positive patient outcomes

-Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care

-Respond promptly and professionally to patient needs and call lights

-Recognize and respond effectively to emergencies and life-threatening situations

-Maintain a clean, organized, and healing patient environment

-Participate in unit-based Quality Assurance and patient safety initiatives

-Support the orientation and training of new staff and nursing students as requested

-Practice within the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies

What We're Looking For

-Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

-Active RN license eligible to practice in Wisconsin

-Current BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

-Strong communication, clinical, and organizational skills

-Ability to safely use patient care equipment and meet physical and cognitive job demands

-Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

Pay & Differentials

-$33.00 - $51.50 per hour, based on experience

-Evening and night shift differentials

-Weekend Program differential available
