SummaryThe Night Auditor is responsible for the timely, accurate, and complete recording of property revenues, preparing for next day business by creating an excellent service experience for the guests of Rolling Hills Casino hotels and ensuring that the RHC Seven Service Standards are maintained.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and guest services skills by being fun, friendly, and fair.Verify and post charges to guest accounts if needed, verifying room rates match posting details, and verifying that charges are posted to the correct departments.Complete all reports generated by Visual One and distributes to appropriate departmentsEnsure direct billings are posted to general ledger in a timely fashionPerform full system backups and assign wake-up callsBe knowledgeable about and able to respond to emergency situationsUnderstand all safety and emergency procedures. Follows accident prevention policies.Report any maintenance repairs needed immediately to their supervisor or facilitiesRegister guests into computer system, verifying registrations, address, and credit card informationAnswer all incoming calls with guest inquiries, make reservations, and transfer phone calls to the appropriate department as neededCommunicate frequently with housekeeping, maintenance, security, and other departmentsMaintain integrity, confidentiality, and sensitivity when working with both internal and external clients & guestsEffectively resolve guest complaints with understanding and compassion.Process reservations in a timely manner to guarantee proper handling of all reservations.Make special note of guest requests to guarantee guest satisfaction.Handle stressful situations and can make informed and efficient decisionsAnswer inquires pertaining to Rolling Hills Casino amenities, services, dining, and entertainmentCheck-in/check-out guests in the Visual One Reservation SystemCompute guest invoices, collect payments and accurately reconcile daily cash flow during shift in accordance with policies and proceduresAvailable to work all shifts as required by business needs, including potential overtime.Perform a variety of clerical duties and projects.Perform general housekeeping duties due to business needsKnowledge of Rolling Hills Casino Resort promotions, menus, and events.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory responsibilities.Requirements:Minimum 21 years of ageQualificationsDemonstrate excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and customer service skills. Ability to deal effectively with people and to handle problems calmy and efficiently. Ability to work under team management approach and also to work efficiently without direct supervision. Ability to hear well and speak clearly. Must be willing to work any shift and weekends. The ability to speak a second language a plus. Pleasant telephone voice and manner required. Reliability required. Must provide high quality customer service and hospitality in the execution of tasks and responsibilities by ensuring a consistent, professional, courteous, friendly efficient service.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), experience in customer service and knowledge of telephone equipment and its operation. Strong computer / keyboarding skills and aptitude desired.Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal and external customers.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to work under pressure.
