Accounting ClerkThe Accounting Clerk role is a key support role on the finance team, assisting with various financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of CCV's financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesFiling and Documentation:Organize and maintain physical and digital financial recordsRecording Transactions:Weekly/monthly retail center transactionsInventory review and entryInteroffice invoicing entriesSupport Revenue Accountants:Sorting mailBatching checks for entryProcessing refunds in various merchant accountsReview/maintain donor recordsCommunication with Internal and External Customers:Campus Teams – work with to streamline processes, ensure information is timely and accurateKey CompetenciesStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsGood organizational skillsExcellent communication skillsQualificationsAdvanced excel skills, including pivot tables and v-lookupsStrong understanding of accounting principlesExperience in Ministry is preferred but not required.Character & ChemistryA passion for reaching the lostPersonal integrity in all areas of lifeMust be, or willing to become a participating member of CCVConsistently attends worship services with their familyIs an active participant in a neighborhood group, and is a consistent tither.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
