Our client is a leading precision manufacturing company serving the energy, aerospace, defense, and industrial sectors . They are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist for their second shift (Mon-Thurs, 4:15 PM CST - 2:30 AM CST). The position includes a 5% shift differential bonus.

• Operate and set up CNC milling machines

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions

• Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

• Verify tooling, gauges, documentation, and calibration requirements before production

• Monitor tool performance, cycle times, and machine operations

• Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate equipment concerns to supervisors

• Read and understand G-Code and M-Code programs

• Ensure all parts meet quality standards, specifications, and production deadlines

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all quality, safety, and HSE procedures

• 1+ year of CNC milling machine experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

• Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments

• Understanding of G-Code, M-Code, cutting tools, and machining processes

• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)

• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Technical machining certification or degree preferred

• Siemens controls experience preferred

• Basic computer skills preferred

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working in a climate-controlled manufacturing facility
