We are building a highly-advanced low Earth orbit (LEO) space system that will fundamentally change the design, economics, manufacturing and service delivery associated with traditional satellite and terrestrial IoT systems.We're intentional, we're unapologetically curious and we're 100% committed to innovate space-based communications and deliver actionable intelligence that will expand global economies, protect space and our planet and enhance our overall quality of life.The E-Space Manufacturing team builds the world's most advanced aerospace products at high rate and high precision.What you'll be doing:Fabricate composite parts and assemblies following work instructions and specificationsPerform dimensional, visual, and physical inspection of composite components; accurately record and document resultsPrepare test specimens and support material and process testing activitiesConduct routine tooling and fixture maintenance; flag condition issues to engineeringFollow established SOPs and work instructions; provide feedback to improve process documentationAssist engineers with process development trials and non-conformance investigationsWhat you will bring to this role:0-2 years of hands-on experience in composites, manufacturing, fabrication, or a related technical fieldFamiliarity with composite materials (thermoplastic or thermoset) preferred; strong willingness to learn requiredAbility to read and follow engineering drawings and written work instructionsBasic mechanical aptitude; comfortable with hand tools and shop equipmentDetail-oriented with a quality-first mindsetSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsExtra points for the following:Experience with dimensional or optical inspection toolsExposure to thermoplastic composite materials or continuous fiber processesMachine shop experience (lathe, milling, or CNC)Familiarity with Lean or continuous improvement conceptsAdditional Requirements This is a fast-paced, high-impact environment - flexibility to occasionally work extended hours or weekends during critical periods is expected.This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Arlington, TX facility.
