We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers who take pride in building complex equipment safely and accurately.Position OverviewAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will assemble structural frames, enclosures, mechanical components, and subassemblies used in switchgear and power distribution equipment.You will use engineering drawings, blueprints, bills of material, torque tools, and assembly procedures to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructionsAssemble mechanical structures, enclosures, frames, and subassembliesVerify materials and components against bills of material (BOM)Use hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and assembly equipmentInstall mechanical hardware and components according to specificationsPerform quality inspections throughout the assembly processIdentify and troubleshoot basic assembly issuesRecord production and quality information using company systemsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentSupport safety and continuous improvement initiativesRequired Skills and QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and blueprintsExperience using hand tools and power toolsAbility to interpret bills of materialBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to frequently lift up 35 pounds; occasional lift up to 50 poundsPreferred Skills and QualificationsTwo or more years of mechanical assembly experienceExperience building switchgear, power distribution equipment, or industrial productsExperience using torque tools and measuring equipmentExperience working in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principlesWhat Success Looks LikeAssembles products correctly the first timeDelivers work that meets quality and safety standardsEffectively interprets engineering documentationSupports production schedules and customer commitmentsContinuously develops technical skillsShift: 5:45AM-4:15PMPay: Starting $23/hrBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
